Detskoje ( Russian Детское , German  Götzendorf, Wehlau district ) is a place in the Russian Oblast of Kaliningrad . It belongs to the local government unit Stadtkreis Gvardeysk in Gvardeysky District .

Geographical location

Detskoye is located three kilometers north of Znamensk (Wehlau) and can be reached from the regional road 27A-029 from Prudnoye (Old Wehlau) via a side road. The next train station is Znamensk on the Kaliningrad – Chernyshevskoje railway line (Königsberg – Eydtkuhnen / Eydtkau) , a section of the former Prussian Eastern Railway .

The place called Götzendorf until 1946 was a Vorwerk for Gut Sanditten (today Russian: Lunino) and in its history connected with the mother community and thus assigned to the administrative district of Sanditten in the district of Wehlau and the administrative district of Königsberg in the Prussian province of East Prussia . Before 1945 the village consisted only of a large courtyard. In 1905 90 inhabitants were registered here.

In 1945 Götzendorf was assigned to northern East Prussia of the Soviet Union . In 1950 the place was given the Russian name "Detskoje" and was assigned to the village soviet Sorinski selski Sowet in Gwardeisk Rajon . From 2005 to 2014 Detskoje belonged to the rural municipality of Sorinskoje selskoje posselenije and since then to the urban district of Gwardeisk.
