San Luis District Administration

The district of San Luis is one of the 43 municipalities of the Lima Metropolitana region in Peru . It has an area of ​​3.49 km². The 2017 census counted 52,082 residents. In 1993 the population was 48,909, in 2007 54,634. The district was established on May 23, 1968. The district administration is at an altitude of 175  m .

Geographical location

The San Luis District is 5.2 km southeast of downtown Lima. The Avenida Circunvalación runs through the eastern part of the district in a south-easterly direction. The district has a maximum lengthwise extension in the WSW-ONO direction of 2.94 km and a width of 2.3 km. The district borders in the north on the district El Agustino , in the east on the district Ate , in the south on the district San Borja and in the west on the district La Victoria .
