Dublinino ( Russian Дублинино , German  Doblienen , Lithuanian Doblynai , also Dobilynai ) is a place in the Russian Oblast Kaliningrad . It belongs to the local government unit Stadtkreis Slawsk in slavsky district . The place Dublinino is today however about four kilometers west of the place Doblienen, which is deserted.

Geographical location

Dublinino is located on the western bank of the river Warsche (Russian: Warscha), 14 kilometers northwest of the district town of Slavsk (Heinrichswalde) . A side street runs through the village, connecting Timirjasewo (Neukirch) with Sapowednoje (Groß Kryszahnen , 1924 to 1946 Seckenburg) . Seckenburg was the nearest train station until the 1920s and was on the Brittanien – Seckenburg line of the Niederungsbahn .

history

The small village called Doblienen until 1946 , which before 1945 only consisted of a few medium-sized farms, was incorporated into the newly established Wolfsberg district in 1874 (Russian: Westrjanka, the place no longer exists), which until 1945 became the Niederung district (from 1938 “ District Elchniederung ”) in the administrative district Gumbinnen of the Russian province of East Prussia .

In 1910 there were 71 inhabitants in Doblienen. Their number decreased to 50 by 1925, was 66 again in 1933 and 63 in 1939.

In 1945 Doblienen came to the Soviet Union following the war with northern East Prussia and was renamed Dublinino at an unknown date. The place was assigned to the village soviet Sapovednenski selski Sowet in Slavsk Raion . From 2008 to 2015 Dublinino belonged to the rural municipality of Timirjasewskoje selskoje posselenije and since then to the urban district of Slavsk.

church

With its predominantly Protestant population, Doblienen was parish into the parish of the Neukirch Church (Russian: Timirjasewo) until 1890 . Thus the village belonged to the parish Niederung within the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union . Today Dublinino is in the catchment area of the newly formed Evangelical Lutheran parish in Slavsk (Heinrichswalde) . It is the parish of the eponymous church region in the Kaliningrad provost of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of European Russia .
