Location in Kaliningrad Oblast
Moskowskoje ( Russian Московское , German Wieszeiten , 1936 to 1938 Wiescheiten , 1938 to 1945 Kleinsommershöfen ; also: Luttken , Lithuanian Vyžaičiai ; also: Liutkai ) is a place in the Russian Oblast Kaliningrad . It belongs to the local government unit Stadtkreis Slawsk in slavsky district . The place Moskowskoje is today mainly in the area of the local offices Jodischken / Jodingen and Tumstallis.
Geographical location
Moskowskoje is located 17 kilometers southeast of the former district town of Heydekrug (now Lithuanian: Šilutė) and 22 kilometers northwest of the current Rajon capital Slavsk (Heinrichswalde) on the regional road 27A-034 (ex R513 ), which leads from Sowetsk (Tilsit) to Myssowka (Karkeln) . Two side streets flow in the town, from Prochladnoje (Kallningken , 1938 to 1946 Herdenau) via Jasnopoljanka (Spucken , 1938 to 1946 Stucken) and from Levobereschnoje (Schakuhnen , 1938 to 1946 Schakendorf) . Before 1945 Schudereiten (no longer existent today) was the next train station and was on the later abandoned railway line Brittanien – Karkeln of the Niederungsbahn (from 1939: Elchniederungsbahn).
history
Wieszeiten / Kleinsommershöfen
The village, still called Wyszeiken in 1540, consisted of several large and small farms before 1945. In 1874, the place in the newly built was District Saddle Kuhnen (the place was called from 1938 to 1946. Schakendorf (East Prussia), today Russian: Lewobereschnoje) integrated, the for loop Heydekrug in Administrative district Gumbinnen the Prussian province of East Prussia belonged. On July 1, 1922, the district was reclassified from the Heydekrug district to the Niederung district (from 1939: Elchniederung district).
In 1910 there were 121 inhabitants registered in Wieszeiten. Their number rose to 148 by 1925, was 119 in 1933, and was 100 in 1939.
On September 17, 1936, the spelling of the place name was officially changed to "Wiescheiten". Another change followed on June 3 (with official confirmation of July 16) 1938 for political and ideological reasons to avoid foreign-sounding place names by then calling the village "Kleinsommershöfen".
As a result of the war, the village came to the Soviet Union with northern East Prussia in 1945 .
Luttken
The small place called Luttkomanscheit at the time was a royal farming village in 1785 and a rural community in 1919 . In 1874, the place in the newly built was District Saddle Kuhnen (the place was 1938-1946. Schakendorf (East Prussia), today Russian: Lewobereschnoje) in Heydekrug circle in Administrative district Gumbinnen the Prussian province of East Prussia incorporated. On July 1, 1992, the district was then reclassified to the Niederung district (from 1939: Elchniederung district).
In 1891 Kuppern was united with Luttken, and in 1910 the village had a total of 58 inhabitants, with the number remaining almost constant until 1925 at 51.
On April 1, 1938, Luttken gave up its independence and merged with the neighboring communities Schudereiten and Staldschen (until 1936: Staldszen, Russian: Dimitrowo, no longer existent) to form the new community "Jägerhöh".
In 1945 Luttken was assigned to northern East Prussia of the Soviet Union .
Moskovskoye
In 1947 the place Wieszeiten or Kleinsommershöfen was renamed "Moskowskoje" and at the same time assigned to the village soviet Jasnowski selski Sowet in Slavsk Raion . Presumably, the place came in 1950 in the Lewobereschnenski selski Sowet and then in 1965 in the Prochladnenski selski Sowet . In the local directory of Kaliningrad Oblast from 1976, the place Luttken was also given as belonging to Moskowskoje. From 2008 to 2015, Moskovskoye belonged to the rural municipality of Yasnovskoye selskoje posselenije and since then to the urban district of Slavsk.
church
Both Wieszeiten resp. Before 1945, Kleinsommershöfen and Luttken were parish with their majority Protestant population in the parish of the Schakuhnen Church (1938 to 1946: Schakendorf (Ostpr.), From 1946: Lewobereschnoje). It belonged to the church district Niederung (Elchniederung) in the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union . Today, Moskovskoye is in the catchment area of the Evangelical Lutheran parish in Slavsk (Heinrichswalde) , which was newly established in the 1990s, within the Kaliningrad (Königsberg) provost of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of European Russia .
