Nasif Moisés Estéfano (born November 18, 1932 in Concepción , † October 21, 1973 in Aimogasta ) was an Argentine racing driver .
Career
Nasif Estéfano came to Europe in 1962 to compete for Scuderia De Tomaso at the Italian Grand Prix . In the automobile world championship he had made his debut two years earlier at the 1960 Argentina Grand Prix in a Maserati 250F . He was able to finish his first Grand Prix in 14th, but in 1962 in Monza he missed the qualification. Before returning to South America, he and Andrea Vianini finished fifth in the 12 Hours of Reims . His vehicle was a Porsche 904GTS .
After his return he became Argentine Formula 3 champion in 1965 and 1966 . In 1973 he had a fatal accident in a long-distance race in his home country.
