Evelyn Maron (born September 2, 1943 in Berlin , † July 16, 2007 in Berlin) was a German actress and voice actress .

Life

Evelyn Maron attended the State University for Theater and Music in Hanover , where she received her first stage engagements. Other theater stations were Berlin ( Hebbel Theater ), Munich ( Die Kleine Freiheit ), Frankfurt am Main and various touring stages.

In contrast, Evelyn Maron was a rare guest in film and television productions. She was seen in episodes of the comedy series Ein verrücktes Paar (with Harald Juhnke ) and Die Nervensäge (with Dieter Hallervorden ), in the Hallervorden comedy Laus im Pelz and as a singer and dancer in television reviews such as Café Hollaender (by and around Friedrich Dutch ).

She became known to a wide audience primarily through her voice. Since 1977 Evelyn Maron has worked extensively as a voice actress and was the standard German voice of Hollywood stars such as Kim Basinger and Andie MacDowell . In addition, she lent her voice in several hundred German dubbed versions. a. Geraldine Chaplin ( Nashville ), Laura Dern ( Blue Velvet ), Farrah Fawcett ( Charlie's Angels ), Linda Hamilton ( Beauty and the Beast ), Barbara Hershey ( The Last Temptation of Christ ), Kelly McGillis ( The Only Witness ), Ornella Muti ( Flash Gordon , The Bible - Esther ), Theresa Russell ( The Black Widow ), Rene Russo ( Outbreak , Grab Shorty , Tin Cup ), Meryl Streep ( Greetings from Hollywood ) and Peri Gilpin ( Frasier ; TV series).

She also took part in numerous radio play productions.

Evelyn Maron died on July 16, 2007 after a long illness.
