Feistritz am Wechsel is located in the southern industrial district in Lower Austria. The community is located in the valley of the Feistritz , which flows into the Pitten between Aspang and Grimmenstein and is therefore not identical to Feistritz in Styria .

The area of the municipality covers 24.02 km², 60.91% of the area is forested.

history

In ancient times, the area was part of the Noricum province . Around 1835 there were 90 houses and 660 inhabitants in Feistritz.
