The Ferrero Challenger Open 2019 was a tennis tournament that took place in Alicante from April 1st to 7th, 2019 . It was part of the ATP Challenger Tour 2019 and was played outdoors on sand.

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 48 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The 16 seeded players in the singles received a bye in the first round.

On April 2, 2019, Carlos Alcaraz won in three sets against Jannik Sinner in the first round . He became the first player born in 2003 to win a match in a Challenger tournament. Alcaraz, who trains in the tennis academy of Juan Carlos Ferrero in Villena near Alicante , started the tournament with a wild card. In the second round he was eliminated against Lukáš Rosol .
