Frank Hugo Martin (born December 30, 1885 in Stockholm , † August 28, 1962 in Danderyd ) was a Swedish rider and Olympic champion .
Life
Martin attended the Kungliga Krigsacademien and became an officer in 1906 . Later he attended the Swedish Army's riding school in Strömsholm Castle .
He competed at the 1920 Summer Olympics in Antwerp with his horse Koort and won the gold medal in show jumping with the Swedish team.
In 1928 he worked for the daily newspaper Svenska Dagbladet . Martin was a first class knight of the Order of the Sword .
