Galéria ( Corsican Galeria ) is a French commune on the island of Corsica . It belongs to the canton of Calvi , the arrondissement of Calvi and the department of Haute-Corse . The residents call themselves Galeriacci.
geography
Galéria is the westernmost municipality in the Haute-Corse department. The municipality includes the hamlets of Porta Vecchia, Cherchisani, Chiusone, Nuvalezza, Prezzuna, Fango and L'Argentella . The municipality marker belongs to the Balagne and borders on the Ligurian Sea to the west . The center of the village is 29 meters above sea level. Neighboring municipalities are Calenzana in the north and northeast, Manso in the east, Serriera in the southeast, Partinello in the south and Osani in the southwest.
