The municipality is located about 33.5 kilometers south-southeast of Verona and about 21 kilometers east of Mantua on the Tione . The Gazzo Veronese borders directly on the province of Mantua . Furthermore, the Tartaro-Canalbianco-Po di Levante runs as a flow network through the municipality.
