Trevenzuolo is a north-eastern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 2763 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Verona in Veneto . The municipality is located about 22 kilometers south-southwest of Verona and about 19 kilometers northeast of Mantua on the Tione and borders directly on the province of Mantua ( Lombardy ). Trevenzuolo is part of the Unione veronese Tartaro Tione .

history

In Roman antiquity there was a village settlement here. In the Middle Ages, the municipality was under the rule of the monastery of St. Zenon and St. George in Braida (in today's city of Verona).
