The districts Canale and Gaium belong to the municipality. Neighboring municipalities are Affi , Brentino Belluno , Caprino Veronese , Cavaion Veronese , Costermano , Dolcè and Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella . The patron saint of the community is Sant'Isidoro .

Rivoli is located 25 km northeast of the provincial capital Verona on the banks of the Adige , which flows west of the town center through the Veronese Klause . The place is located at an altitude of 191 m slm and covers an area of 18.45 km² and an average population density of around 110 inhabitants per km².
