NGC 3915 = IC 2963 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 / a in the constellation Virgo on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 69 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 30,000 ly.
In the same area of ​​the sky are the galaxies IC 738 and IC 741 .

The object was discovered by Wilhelm Herschel on April 24, 1784 .
