This discography is an overview of the musical works of Iron Maiden , one from the United Kingdom derived heavy metal - band . It consists of 16 studio albums , nine live albums , five best-of albums , four EPs , 40 singles , 18 video albums, 36 music videos and three box sets .

According to the sources, Iron Maiden sold more than 100 million records worldwide. The band currently consists of singer Bruce Dickinson , guitarists Dave Murray , Adrian Smith and Janick Gers , bassist Steve Harris and drummer Nicko McBrain . The most successful release of Iron Maiden is the album The Number of the Beast with around two million units sold.
