License plate (Mongolia)
Mongolian license plates are usually black on a white background. The signs have one or two lines, with one-line labels measuring 520 × 110 mm, which is also common in Europe. License plates from Mongolia consist of four digits and three Cyrillic letters , with the first two letters indicating the closer origin. Newer signs also show the Sojombo symbol in redon the leftand the country code MNG (formerly MGL ) in an ovalbetween numbers and letters. This symbolism is missing on older signs. Diplomatic license plates have a red background. They show the letters ДК and two digits twice.
