Le Vigean is about 40 kilometers north-northwest of Aurillac on Mars . Le Vigean is surrounded by Sourniac in the north and north-west, Jaleyrac in the north, Méallet in the north-east, Anglards-de-Salers in the east and south-east, Salins in the south and south-east, Drugeac in the south, Escorailles and Ally in the west and south-west, Mauriac in the west and Chalvignac in the northwest.
