League Cup 1994/95
The League Cup 1994/95 was the 35th edition of the English League Cup , which had existed since 1960 .
The competition started on August 15, 1994 with the first round and ended on April 2, 1995 with the final at Wembley . The title went to Liverpool FC with a 2-1 win in the final over second division side Bolton Wanderers . Liverpool became the first team to win the English League Cup for the fifth time (previously four times in a row from 1981 to 84). The Bolton Wanderers moved into the final of this competition for the first time and rose at the end of the 1994/95 season through a success in the play-off final in the Premier League.
