The women's 200-meter run at the 1958 European Athletics Championships was held on August 22nd and 23rd, 1958 in the Stockholm Olympic Stadium.
The European champion was Barbara Janiszewska from Poland . The GDR sprinter Hannelore Sadau took second place. Bronze went to the defending champion, European record holder and 400-meter European champion Marija Itkina from the USSR.
