The women's 200-meter run at the 2002 European Athletics Championships was held on August 8th and 9th, 2002 in the Munich Olympic Stadium.
The European champion was the French woman Muriel Hurtis . The ranks two and three were distributed in the same way as two days before over 100 meters : Silver went to the Belgian Kim Gevaert , bronze to the Italian Manuela Levorato .
