The women's high jump at the European Athletics Championships in 2002 was held on August 9th and 11th, 2002 in the Munich Olympic Stadium.

In this competition, the Russian high jumpers won two medals, silver and bronze. Kajsa Bergqvist won the European championship in 2000 and third in the Swedish Olympics in 2000 and third in the World Cup in 2001 . Marina Kupzowa took second place ahead of Olga Kaliturina .

qualification

August 9, 2002

21 participants competed in two groups for the qualification round. The qualification height for direct entry into the final was 1.92 m. No athlete even approached this height after it was clear that 1.90 m was sufficient for participation in the finals. The final two days later was contested by the twelve high jumpers who jumped 1.90 m in qualification (highlighted in light green).
