The men's 800-meter run at the 2010 European Athletics Championships was held from July 28th to 30th, 2010 at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys in the city of Barcelona .
With gold and bronze, the middle distance athletes from Poland won two medals. Marcin Lewandowski became European champion . He won ahead of the British Michael Rimmer . Bronze went to Adam Kszczot .
