The 2018/19 season was the 28th season of the Optibet hokeja līga , the highest Latvian ice hockey division . The HK Mogo won the championship title in the play-off final against last year's winner HK Kurbads and thus won the second championship in the club's history.
mode
In the main round, the seven teams play 36 games each. Each team receives three points for a win after regular playing time, each team receives two points for a win after overtime, one point for a defeat after normal playing time and zero points for a defeat after normal playing time. The four best-placed teams qualify for the semi-finals of the playoffs, in which the champions are played out.
Attendees
In addition to all six participants from the preseason, the HK Lido was included in the Optibet hokeja līga , which had participated in the second-class 1st division last year.
