List of the abbesses of St. Quirin in Neuss

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The following people were abbesses of the St. Quirin women's monastery in Neuss and, as such, also mistresses of Uedesheim and Holzbüttgen . Persons listed in italics or dates of death from older literature are not documented.

A list of abbesses ( Series abbatissarum ) compiled by Martin Henriquez von Strevesdorff (1619–1679 ) was first printed in 1670. Abbesses of other monasteries still officiated in Neuss.
