Monument text
The building represents a functionalist, striking building from the 1920s with clear Bauhaus influences. The concise structure in its simple design could be assigned to the school of the city planning officer Paul Wolf. This is indicated by the brick facing of the ground floor zone, the emphasis and design of the stairwells as well as the addition of the ground floor area and the open loggias. A special urban development feature is the striking formation of the ground-floor rotunda (shop wing) facing Reicker Straße (LfD / 2015).
