Detailed memorial texts
- ↑ The Diakonissenhauskirche was built between 1928 and 1929 by the architect Max Hans Kühne. After the bombing raids on Dresden on February 13, 1945, during which the church burned down, a simplified reconstruction took place in 1960–1962. It was in the hands of Oswin Hempel. The interior was redesigned. The altarpiece by Paul Sinkwitz also dates from this period . In 1973 the Schuke organ was inaugurated . In 1992 and 2001 there were two major renovations. The institution church of the deaconess hospital is a hall building with a dominant roof turret. It is made up of a rectangle and two half-cylinders that support a roof that is rounded on the narrow sides. The long sides of the avant-garde building in particular are broken up by vertical light strips. There are two extensions on the south side. The interior is accessed via two portals that are highlighted in design. The distinctive church associated with the names of the two well-known architects Max Hans Kühne and Oswin Hempel is a significant testimony to the art of church architecture of the 20th century and is of architectural significance. With the sophisticated and unusually designed facade and the simple but classy furnishings, the building is also of artistic importance (LfD / 2012).
- ↑ Former Residential and brewery building as well as side hotel wings from GDR times, plus the Elbe-side garden; the first baroque complex including the extensions to the government building (called "the government"), made up of several buildings grouped around two inner courtyards. Integrated into the hotel since 1982–1985, the proportions of the new buildings based on the baroque complex, their structure and choice of materials on the neighboring buildings (Japanese palace and log house), wings from GDR times, examples of East German postmodernism, also with a special and probably singular history , Complex, one of the more significant hotel complexes of the 1980s, stands out from the average of this period, has a decisive influence on the view of the Inner New Town on the Elbe, and is of importance in terms of building history, local history and urban planning. Chancellery building, central part of the Hotel Bellevue, built according to plans by Johann Georg Gebhardt, expanded in 1734 by Matthäus Daniel Pöppelmann.
- ↑ a b c Dresden-Neustadt railway station, side walls of the railway bridge Hansastraße, Theodor Kunz relief (Schlesischer Platz 1, Hansastraße 2) and railway depot / locomotive operation point with locomotive shed, two water cranes, as well as coaling, sanding and purification systems (Lößnitzstraße 7b); The train station consists of a large platform hall and an upstream, rectangular reception building, the central section of which is highlighted by a glass dome and two entrance templates with segmental arches, facades extremely representative, decorative and structural elements historical, interior painting in Art Nouveau style , station together with the railway depot as a replacement for the Silesian train station as part of the large-scale expansion of the Dresden railway network (Dresdner knot) built, architecturally remarkable station around 1900, significant in terms of building history, artistry, local history and traffic history.
- ↑ a b Marienbrücke I (road bridge) - Vault bridge over twelve flat arches with bridge houses (see Devrientstraße 20) and landside staircases, until 1901 a combined road and railway bridge, significant evidence of transport history, striking example of bridge architecture in the mid-19th century, an important part of the unmistakable Elbe silhouette of Dresden, significant in terms of traffic and building history as well as urban planning (see also Marienbrücke II).
- ↑ The axis of Königstrasse from Palaisplatz to Albertplatz was laid out in 1731 as the second main street of the "New King City". It was created with the significant participation of the most famous Saxon baroque master builder, Matthäus Daniel Pöppelmann, who designed the prescribed uniform facade architecture. As the only urban development axis in Dresden from the first half of the 18th century, which has largely been preserved with its original development, Königstraße is of singular importance. As a work by Pöppelmann, it also has a special architectural and historical value (LfD / 2014).
- ↑ Königstrasse 12 in Dresden, OT Innere Neustadt, which was probably built in the 2nd quarter of the 18th century, forms a so-called through house with Rähnitzgasse 27 , a building shape characteristic of baroque town houses with commercial use. In addition, with the buildings on Königstrasse that were built around the same time, it is one of the most remarkable residential buildings from the 18th century in Dresden. As far as is known, the specifications for the construction of the town houses on Königstrasse came from the famous baroque master builder Pöppelmann. In addition, the building to be assessed is part of the urban development distinctive and significant Königstrasse, a baroque axis planned in connection with the Japanese Palace, which was originally intended to end at a point de vue (point of view). The Königstraße 12 building is therefore significant in terms of architectural history, artistry and urban development (LfD / 2002).
