Remarks

* Altstadt is the name of a deserted area with a preserved chapel, sacristan's house and barn, on a high plateau 1.5 km southwest of downtown Rottenburg. It was assumed that the Lords of Ehingen attempted to found a town at this point, while more recent research sees the Counts of Hohenberg as the founders of the settlement, which soon gave up in favor of the town of Rottenburg am Neckar, which arose in the valley has been.
