List of the most visited art museums
The following list gives an overview of the most-visited art museums in the world at the last determinable point in time. The list is given to all museums with over a million visitors whose main purpose is the exhibition of works of art. Sources are mainly statistics from The Art Newspaper and various official sources. For the museums listed with less than a million visitors, the list does not claim to be exhaustive.
