Lucas Rodrigues Moura da Silva (born August 13, 1992 in São Paulo ), usually called Lucas Moura or Lucas , is a Brazilian soccer player . The right winger is under contract with Tottenham Hotspur and is a senior international .
Career
society
Lucas began his career in the youth of São Paulo FC in 2005. There he won the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior in 2010 with the youth team . In the same year, the offensive player moved into the squad of the professional team of the FCSP. There Lucas quickly fought for a regular place and played himself in the foreground.
On August 8, 2012, the French first division club Paris Saint-Germain signed Lucas on January 1, 2013. He signed a four-and-a-half year contract until June 30, 2017.
In the 2018 winter transfer period, Lucas moved to London club Tottenham Hotspur. In the semi-final second leg of the 2018/19 Champions League , he became the match winner. Ajax Amsterdam won the first leg at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium 1-0 and led in the second leg at the Johan Cruyff Arena at halftime 2-0, but Lucas Moura turned the game around with a flawless hat trick.
National team
Lucas was Brazil's junior international. The midfielder took part in the 2011 South American Championship with the country's U-20s . In the new possible games of the first group phase and the final season, Lucas was the only player next to Alex Sandro and Oscar to appear in every encounter, with eight games in the starting lineup. The Brazilian youth team finished this championship as a winner. Behind team-mate Neymar , Lucas was also the second best scorer of his team with four goals.
After the World Cup in South Africa, which was disappointing for the Brazilian national team , Lucas made his first appearance in this team on March 27, 2011 under new coach Mano Menezes , who caused a change. In the friendship game against Scotland Menezes changed him in the 72nd minute for Jádson . Since then the midfielder has been called up regularly. After Moura was only regularly appointed to the senior squad in 2012 and 2013, there were no more assignments in 2014. In 2015 he came to two missions and in 2016 only one. There were again no appointments in 2017. It was not until 2018 that national coach Tite called him again to two friendly matches on October 12, 2018 against Saudi Arabia and on October 16, 2018 against Argentina . Moura was subsequently called up to replace the injured Everton by Gremio Porto Alegre .
