Vrigne aux Bois is a French commune with 3,623 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Ardennes department in the Grand Est region . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Sedan and the Canton of Sedan-1 .
The municipality was created with effect from January 1, 2017 as Commune nouvelle through the amalgamation of the formerly independent municipalities Vrigne-aux-Bois and Bosseval-et-Briancourt , which take on the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . To distinguish it from the old church, the new church no longer has any hyphens in its name.

geography
Vrigne aux Bois is located in northern France on the border with Belgium . The northern municipal border coincides with the state border. Sedan is about 10 kilometers southeast, Reims about 100 kilometers southwest.
