The municipality is located six kilometers southwest of the departmental capital, Alençon, in a bend in the Upper Sarthe . The partially hilly area of ​​the 10.36 km² community forms the north-eastern end of the Alpes mancelles landscape , an extension of the Armorican massif . Mieuxcé is located off the major national transport routes. Narrow country roads lead from Mieuxcé in all directions, the nearby town of Alençon functions as a rail and road traffic junction.
