Cuissai is a French municipality with 418 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Orne in the region of Normandy . Cuissai belongs to the Arrondissement of Alençon and the canton of Damigny (until 2015: Canton Alençon-1 ). The municipality is part of the communauté urbaine d'Alençon . The inhabitants are called Cuisséens .
geography
Cuissai is about ten kilometers west-northwest of Alençon . The parish is part of the Normandy-Maine Regional Nature Park . Cuissai is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Nicolas-des-Bois in the north, Colombiers in the east, Lonrai in the southeast, Pacé in the south and Saint-Denis-sur-Sarthon in the west.
The National Route 12 runs through the municipality .
