Saint-Denis-sur-Sarthon is surrounded by the neighboring communities of L'Orée-d'Écouves in the north, Cuissai in the northeast, Pacé in the east, La Ferrière-Bochard in the south, Ravigny in the southwest, Gandelain in the west and La Roche-Mabile in the Northwest.
