La Ferrière-Bochard is a French municipality with 742 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Orne in the region of Normandy . La Ferrière-Bochard belongs to the Arrondissement of Alençon and the canton of Damigny (until 2015: Canton Alençon-1 ). The municipality is part of the communauté urbaine d'Alençon .

La Ferrière-Bochard is located about eleven kilometers east-southeast of Alençon . The parish is part of the Normandy-Maine Regional Nature Park . La Ferrière-Bochard is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Denis-sur-Sarthon in the north, Pacé in the northeast, Mieuxcé in the east, Saint-Céneri-le-Gérei in the south, Saint-Pierre-des-Nids in the west and southwest and Ravigny in the north-west.
