Denezy
Location of the municipality

Montanaire is a municipality in the Gros-de-Vaud district in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland .

On January 1, 2013, the political communities of Chanéaz , Chapelle-sur-Moudon , Correvon , Denezy , Martherenges , Neyruz-sur-Moudon , Peyres-Possens , Saint-Cierges and Thierrens merged . On September 6, 2011, the merger agreement was approved in the nine municipal councils. On January 29, 2012, the voters decided in favor of the merger.
