NGC 1541 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 / a in the constellation Taurus on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 221 million light years away from the Milky Way and is about 85,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered by Albert Marth on November 14, 1863 .
