NGC 5202 is a 14.6 likes bright spiral galaxy of Hubble type "Sc" in constellation Virgo north of the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 287 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 110,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 5184 , NGC 5192 , NGC 5196 , NGC 5197 .
The object was discovered by Albert Marth on April 12, 1864 .
