Perschotrawnewe ( Ukrainian Першотравневе ; Russian Першотравневое Perschotrawnewoje ) is an urban-type settlement in the north of the Ukrainian Oblast Zhytomyr with about 2,400 inhabitants (2015).
Perschotrawnewe was founded in 1936 as part of the development of quartzite deposits and was given the status of an urban-type settlement in 1952. The village is the administrative center of the settlement council of the same name within the Ovrutsch district , to which the village of Kamjanivka ( Кам'янівка ) with about 80 inhabitants belongs.
Perschotrawnewe has a train station on the railway line Ovrutsch - Jelsk ( Belarus ) and is located on the regional road P-28 10 km north of the district center Ovrutsch and 140 km north of Zhytomyr .
