Chervone ( Ukrainian Червоне ; Russian Червоное Tscherwonoje , Polish Czerwone ) is an urban-type settlement in the southeast of the Ukrainian Oblast Zhytomyr with about 2800 inhabitants (2014).

St. Nicholas Church in Chervon

The village, founded in 1737, received urban-type settlement status in 1938 and had 4500 inhabitants in 1966. Chervon is the only village in the settlement council of the same name within the Andrushivka district and lies on the banks of the 33 km long Pustocha River. The ruins of Tereshchenko Castle are in the village .

Chervon is located on the Kozyatyn - Kiev railway about 60 km southeast of the Zhytomyr oblast center , 15 km southwest of the Andrushivka district center and about 25 km northeast of the city of Berdychiv .
