Nowa Borowa ( Ukrainian Нова Борова ; Russian Новая Боровая Nowaja Borowaja , Polish Bobryk Nowy ) is an urban-type settlement in the Ukrainian Oblast of Zhytomyr with about 5600 inhabitants (2014).

The village received urban-type settlement status in 1957 and has a train station on the Korosten - Zhytomyr railway line .

Nowa Borowa is located on the Irscha , a left tributary of the Teteriw 20 km northeast of the Rajonzentrum Khoroshiw and 57 km north of the Oblastzentrum Zhytomyr. The regional road P-28 runs past the village in a north-south direction .
