Horodnyzja ( Ukrainian Городниця ; Russian Городница Gorodnitsa ) is an urban-type settlement in the west of the Ukrainian Oblast of Zhytomyr with about 5400 inhabitants (2014).
The village, first mentioned in 1390, received the status of an urban-type settlement in 1938 and has since formed its own settlement council.
In August 2020, a more than 1,000-year-old treasure was found in Horodnyzja, the 32 silver coins from the time of the Great Vladimir and Svyatopolk I. contained. This is the largest coin find in Ukraine in over a hundred years.

Horodnyzja is located on the banks of the Slutsch in the Novohrad-Wolynskyj district, 44 km northwest of the Novohrad-Wolynskyj district center and 121 km northwest of the Zhytomyr district center .
