Novohujwynske ( Ukrainian Новогуйвинське ; Russian Новогуйвинское Novoguiwinskoje ) is an urban-type settlement in the Ukrainian Oblast of Zhytomyr with about 5300 inhabitants (2014).

The village in Zhytomyr Raion was founded in 1973 and in the same year received urban-type settlement status. Together with the urban-type settlements Oserne and Hujwa, it forms the settlement council of the same name. The largest employer in town is the Zhytomyr tank plant ( Житомирський бронетанковий завод ).

Novohujwynske is located on the banks of the Hujwa ( Гуйва ), a 97 km long tributary of the Teteriv about 10 km south of Zhytomyr . The M 21 / E 583 trunk road runs west of the village .
