Razor & Tie

Razor & Tie is a corporation founded in 1990 by Cliff Chenfeld and Craig Balsam in New York . It includes the label of the same name, which has signed a distribution deal with Sony Music Entertainment and RED Distribution - which also belongs to Sony -, a home video distributor, a music publishing company, a marketing and sales team.

Razor & Tie has artists from a wide variety of music styles under contract, including folk , pop , rock , metal , electronic , soul and world music . The label is known for its Kidz-Bop compilation, on which well-known pop songs are re-recorded and sung by children. The subsidiary label Washington Square opened in 2014 .

Razor & Tie has been operating as a subsidiary of Fearless Records since May 15, 2018 .
