Rypławki ( German  Riplauken ) is a small town in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship and belongs to the Gmina Srokowo (Drengfurth) in the powiat Kętrzyński ( Rastenburg district ).

Geographical location

Rypławki is located in the northern center of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, twelve kilometers northeast of the district town of Kętrzyn ( German  Rastenburg ).

history

The place, called cattle pasture around 1785, originally consisted of a large farm. In 1785, cattle pasture was "a noble farm with 1 fireplace". Until September 30, 1928 the place belonged to the manor district Groß Blaustein , then to the rural community Blaustein ( Polish Siniec ) in the East Prussian district of Rastenburg . In 1820 the population was 23, in 1905 it was 41.

In war-induced Riplauken 1945 came with the entire southern East Prussia to Poland and received the Polish form of the name "Ripławki". Today is the place "część wsi Siniec" ("part of the village Siniec") within the rural community Srokowo (Drengfurth) in the powiat Kętrzyński ( Rastenburg district ), until 1998 the Olsztyn Voivodeship , since then the Warmia-Masurian Voivodeship belongs.

church

Before 1945 Riplauken was parish in the Protestant Church of Wenden (East Prussia) in the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union and in the Catholic Church of St. Katharina in Rastenburg in what was then the Diocese of Warmia .

Today Rypławki belongs to the Catholic parish Srokowo in the current Archdiocese of Warmia , as well as to the Evangelical Johanneskirche Kętrzyn with the branch church Srokowo in the Diocese of Masuria of the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland .
