history

On October 10, 1905, the Langeneck manor district was formed from the Vorwerk Langeneck within the manor district Groß Blaustein ( Polish Siniec ) and incorporated into the district Blaustein (Polish Siniec ). This was in the district of Rastenburg in the administrative district of Königsberg in the Prussian province of East Prussia . The Langeneck estate had 71 inhabitants in 1905, five years later there were 74.

On September 30, 1928, the Langeneck manor district gave up its independence and merged with the rural community of Groß Blaustein ( Polish: Dolny Siniec ) and the manor districts of Groß Blaustein (Polish: Siniec ) and Klein Blaustein ( Sińczyk-Leśniczówka ) to form the new rural community of Blaustein ( Siniec ) .

When all of southern East Prussia was transferred to Poland in 1945 as a result of the war , Langeneck was also affected. It received the Polish form of the name "Kąty" and is now a place in the network of the rural community Srokowo (Drengfurth) in the powiat Kętrzyński ( Rastenburg district ), until 1998 the Olsztyn Voivodeship , since then the Warmia-Masurian Voivodeship belongs.
