history

Before 1945, Klein Blaustein was a small forestry in what was then called the Blausteiner Forest . In 1785 it was called "noble Vorwerk with 22 fireplaces". Klein Blaustein belonged to the rural community Wehlack ( Skierki in Polish ) in the district of the same name within the East Prussian district of Rastenburg . In 1820 it had 25, in 1885 34 and in 1905 40 inhabitants.

On September 30, 1928, Klein Blaustein separated from the municipality of Wehlack and joined with Groß Blaustein (village) ( Dolny Siniec in Polish ), Groß Blaustein (Gut) (Siniec) and Langeneck (Kąty) to form the new rural municipality of Blaustein (Siniec) im Blaustein district together.

As a result of the war, Klein Blaustein came to Poland in 1945 along with all of southern East Prussia and received the Polish name form “Sińczyk-Leśniczówka”. Today it is "część wsi Siniec" ("part of the village Siniec") within the rural municipality of Srokowo (Drengfurth) in the powiat Kętrzyński ( Rastenburg district ), until 1998 of the Olsztyn Voivodeship , since then it has belonged to the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship .
