On May 14, 1887, the Vorwerk Adlig Gut Rodehlen in the Wehlack manor district was reclassified to the Dombehnen manor district ( Dębiany in Polish ) in the Rodehlen district .

In the 19th and 20th centuries the village belonged to the Counts of Schwerin .

On September 30, 1928, various structural changes were made in the Wehlack manor district:

  • the rural community of Klein Kemlack (Polish: Kiemławki Małe ) and the Groß Kemlack (Polish: Kiemławki Wielkie ) in the Wehlack manor district merged to form the new rural community of Kemlack ;
  • the Marklack estate (in Polish: Markławka ) was reclassified into the rural community of Petermanns ( Pieszewo );
  • the goods Groß Schatten ( Szaty Wielkie ) and Albertinhausen ( Staniszewo ) merged with the rural community of Wehlack to form the new rural community of Wehlack;
  • the Klein Blaustein manor ( Sińczyk-Leśnicówka ) in the Wehlack manor district was reclassified into the Blaustein ( Siniec ) rural community ;
  • the goods Adlig Plienkeim ( Plinkajmy Małe ) and Weypoth ( Wypęk ) were reclassified to the rural community Taberwiese in the district of Barten, domain ( Barciany );
  • the Elisenthal estate ( Niedziały ) was reclassified into the rural community of Wenden ( Winda ).

On April 1, 1930, Wehlack expanded to include the neighboring town of Rawlack ( Rowy in Polish ), which was incorporated into the municipality.

In 1945, at the end of World War II , the Red Army marched into the area. As a result of the war, Wehlack became part of the People's Republic of Poland as “Skierki” . A state agricultural cooperative was founded and apartments were set up in the manor house for the workers of the cooperative. In 1970 there was a kindergarten in Skierki that six children attended, a four-class elementary school , a library point and a cinema for 100 people. 1973 the village became part of the Schulzenamt (Polish Sołectwo ) Szaty Wielkie (Groß Schatten) in the municipality of Barciany.
