Gęsiniec Wielki is a small town in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship and belongs to the Gmina Barciany (Barten) in the powiat Kętrzyński ( Rastenburg district ).

Gęsiniec Wielki is located in the northern center of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship , 18 kilometers northwest of the district town of Kętrzyn ( German  Rastenburg ). It is a hamlet ( Polish Przysiółek ) as part of the village of Gęsiki (German Meistersfelde ).

Nothing is documented about the history of the small town. It could be a foundation after the Second World War , so that no German form of name is known from the time before the war. Gęsiniec Wielki is now part of the Barciany rural community in the Powiat Kętrzyński .
