The Passau-Ost constituency is a Bavarian constituency that has existed in its current form since the Bavarian state election in 2003 and the Lower Bavarian district election in the same year.

It consists of the urban district of Passau , the communities of Breitenberg , Büchlberg , Fürstenstein , Hauzenberg , Hutthurm , Neukirchen vorm Wald , Obernzell , Ruderting , Salzweg , Sonnen , Thyrnau , Tiefenbach , Tittling , Untergriesbach , Wegscheid and Witzmannsberg from the district of Passau and the communities Grainet , Haidmühle , Jandelsbrunn , Neureichenau , Röhrnbach and Waldkirchen from the Freyung-Grafenau district .

In addition to the directly elected constituency member Gerhard Waschler (CSU), the SPD candidate Christian Flisek and the AfD candidate Ralf Stadler were elected via their party's respective district lists.

Election 2013

The state elections for the 17th Bavarian State Parliament took place on September 15, 2013. Eleven parties competed in the Passau-Ost constituency, each of which put up a direct candidate for election. The violets no longer competed, the pirates for the first time.

In addition to Gerhard Waschler , CSU, who took over the direct mandate from Konrad Kobler , CSU, Bernhard Roos entered the state parliament via the SPD's Lower Bavaria district list.
