The Tashkent Open 2009 was the 11th edition of the women's tennis tournament in the Uzbek city ​​of Tashkent . The hard court tournament in the International category was part of the WTA Tour 2009 ; it took place at the same time as the Hansol Korea Open 2009 in the South Korean capital Seoul from September 21 to 27, 2009.

The defending champions were Sorana Cîrstea in singles and Ioana Raluca Olaru / Olha Sawtschuk in doubles .
